The 1996 Yankees were World Series Champions, beating the Braves in six games, The 1996 World Series patch is on the right sleeve of the jerset. The black arm band on the left sleeve was worn in rememberance of the "Voice of the Yankees," Mel Allen, who passed away in June in 1996.
